  7. MIR FOR TEACHERS
Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has raised the possibility of a training system similar to the MIR specialist teachers needed by doctors to practice.

For the vice president is necessary to introduce changes in teacher training, and now the selection and training of teachers is "well settled." Rubalcaba has not specified how it should be this specialization, although the MIR (Medico Interno Residente) for graduates in Medicine is a training course that is working in a hospital under supervision. To access and select specialty is necessary to examine in an annual competition.

Rubalcaba made these remarks during his speech at the XXV week Monograph Santillana Education, where he insisted that his words be taken as a personal reflection, not as the First Deputy Prime Minister.

  8. I'm not at all agree with what Mr Rubalcaba said.

With regard to primary education, those who are studying for it, we have courses where we teach the disciplines of how to teach.
We also have an internship during the career where you are supervised by an expert, as in the MIR.

There are others, such as school teachers or vocational training as well as taking his university degree to be teachers, prepared with the CAP (adapted pedagogy course, recently renovated, extended and increased its price.)

I think what this man says has no basis and no other purpose than to delay the student inclusion in the workplace.

Has it made a course to give away the position that fell last month?

  9. I agree with Mª Mar at all. If somebody wants to be teacher is because they like teaching. During the career, we have enought time to learn about how to teach. If theoretical classes aren't enought, in second, third and fourth year we have the practical part of the career.
So, I don't agree with Mr. Rubalcaba in that he said.

  10. I cant believe this project. The teachers dont need any MIR because we have the opositions! Moreover, the teachers have practical class in the career

  11. In my opinion, MIR is not necessary to teachers because they have practical classes instead of this. I don`t agree with him because, moreover, they can do other different courses if they want to be more prepared.
I think teachers don´t need MIR, because they have enough classes (practical and theoretical classes) to be prepared to teach.

  12. I think that this project is... Ridiculous? O my god, this is totally unnecessary. I'm still angry because we have 4 years of university, and now this! I can't believe it.

  13. Well I think what Rubalcaba wanted to say is to make an examen like MIR not practicum. I think we have something similar with the "OPOSICIONES" There is just one thing that I agree with: Education must change but I don't think that this is the correct way to make it change.

  14. I think that MIR is not obligatory it is only if you want to be an specialist talking in nmedicine area; anyway a year I knik It is too much for a teacher but maybe 2 or 3 mounth more will not be bad and of course will be optinal as MIR. Also would have to know if it would be practical or theorical, in that cases it would see too.

  15. It's the most stupid idea that I've ever heard in my live, and I heard a lot.
Why there is no MIR to politicians because the vast majority are inept, believed to be intellectuals, and the only thing out of his mouth are bullshit.
Teachers have the "opposition" not as complicated as a MIR, but is in relation to the of each profession. The teacher's MIR is crazy.

  16. Of course it is important that teachers have a good formation but, in my opinion, I consider it excessive to have to do the MIR, as those studying medicine. I agree with Carla when she said that the Spanish educational system has to change, but this is not the best way to do it.

    This really makes me angry.

  18. I read this news before, and the thing that he wants to do is to change the Máster for an educational formation, similar to the system MIR, consisting of the exercise remunerated of the education during a period of one or two years under the teachers' supervision by experience and competition accredite. A formation always comes well, the education is something essential.

  19. This news can be seen from two points of view as a positive motivating lacompetitividad among future teachers, or conversely as being totally out of place, to serve as professor and pass the exams are doing a test that certifies you as a teacher, so a mir for teachers? seems unnecessary.

  20. I do not agree with the minister. I think enough is 4 years instead of 3 as now and make that software which I will not give much benefit to teachers
