  1. 142 colegios públicos de la Comunidad permanecerán abiertos en el puente
A total of 142 public schools in the Community of Madrid of education infant and primary remain open during the bridge in December, that allows total of 7,000 pupil of different municipalities this will participate in various extracurricular activities and facilitate the reconciliation of the family life and work, as reported by the Government.
During the bridge the schools will be open the day 7, and it is expect that in the next Christmas has open centers on 24, 27, 28, 29, 30 and December 31 and 3, 4, 5 and January 7.
The activities that will consist in classroom of nature, board games, sporting activities, or literary…
According to the Community, these actions are part of the Improvement Plan and extension of the educational.
For the regional government this programs aim to facilities families conciliation of the family life and work especially in the periods of school holidays that are more complicated for the parents.

In my opinion this is a good measure since it facilitates many families that do not know where leave their children or you don't have where leave them while they are working.
This is this taking place in the community of madrid, but more communities should carry out this improvement plan

  2. I agree with you Cristina, it´s good to have a scool where parents can leave their children if they have to work on holidays. There they can continue learning but I think it must be in a funny way, because children also need holiday, so the activities must be like a game where they can enjoy with other children.

  3. I think, that go to the school in holidays is not good for children, because, they are a lot of time in the school, at least, 7 or 8 hour each day, so if they go to the school in holiday too, in my opinion, is not good for children.

  4. I think like everything else, has its advantages: their parents can relax, its disadvantages: children do not spend much time with their parents ... It's a bit complicated

  5. I'm agree with this news because the parents can be work and the children can enjoy at the school and spend time with their partners and so the children can see the school from other point of view than homeworks and exams.

  6. I agree with cristina.
The measure that to taken the government of opening the schools during the holidays, is good enough because it facilitates the entertainment of the children. Those pupils who don´t find any way of spending the free days because his parents work or for other reasons; they can come to schools to spend the time playing and enjoying.

  7. Open schools at holidays has adventages and disadventages:

On the one hand is good for parents that could leave to his children at schools while they are relax at home. The bad thing os this is that teachers have to work on holidays and i suppose that they want to relax too.

On the other hand i think that parents should stay more time with their child. If you don't want to spend time with your children on holidays its preferable not to have children!!!

if you're dad or mum is for the good and bad things!!

  8. i think that it could be good, but if the teacher forget the tipical classes and try to make more funny.
If the teachers make that long weekend like a normal day the children will feal bad

  9. I think this type of proposal promoted by the government are very good because they help reconcile work and family life and in many cases, it is really complicated. On the other hand I completely agree with Sara. These days you have to forget about school and just focus on fun activities to help children to forget where they are.
