I agree with Patricia, since I think that it´s imposible study with computer and TV,because it´s necessary a good concentration. I consider that parents can reward children with consoles or computer when they finish their studies or homework. From my point of view,children´s parents should teach them since they´re children for example, they can do a timetable for their study. This is the responsability of parents because they have to choose how educate their children.
I agree with the fact that parents are ultimately responsible for teaching their children good study habits and routines at home. Teachers can do their part, but it's the parents who must reinforce good study habits at home.
Watching TV or playing games, must be activities for children only in their free time and in a few minutes. I think watching tv or playing console games, children waste the time. I agree with Jessy in making a timetable and routines, but I could change this kind of games for games outside, where children can enjoy with others or traditional games which children enjoy and learn at the same time.
Watching TV or playing console games its not a bad. It becomes a bad habit if they play a lot and if it replace the homework. The parents should, as some of you have said, make a timetable, if the children can't by themselves do their own, so they make sure they do their job and they are not spending a lot of time on those kind of activities. (We have to remind that sports are better for them at this age than staying home playing virtual sports or watching TV).

The problem is that many parents worry about their children and leave them to do whatever they want. This affects your notes obvimente making progress not in school and to stay stagnant.
