The select new, speaks about the incorporation of the news technologies for the pupils in the classes of the school. The teacher comes into the class, and instead of asking to open the book, requests that they turn on the laptops. It treats about the Escuela 2.0 project. The government put in hands of teachers and pupils of end of primary or beginning of ESO, these new technological resources, like digital slates, or Internet. Antonio Perez, who is the director of the Institute of Educational Technologies (IET), assures that is possible to teach in another way. The teachers value the interest of the pupil that it demonstrates through the Internet. However some teachers are afraid about of the problems of breakdowns for the use of equipments and the time that supposes preparing the classroom. Education believes that for 2012, the computerization of the classroom should be complete from 5º of primary to 2º of secondary in all the communities that are in the program. The intention of the department is to continue with the implantation of it in the rest of the system. However, the exams will continue realizing with paper and pen.
OPINION: From my point of view, I think that the incorporation of the new technologies is good, but as everything, it has a bad side. On one hand, this new incorporation will help and will improve the use of the new technologies, and the pupil’s knowledge will improve for the future, and for their jobs, because they will use these new technologies, and they will need to know about it. On the other hand, it can be a problem, because it needs a lot of resources, and spends a lot of electricity. At the beginning, the pupils will spend much time, because they won’t know how to use these new technologies, although the using of these new elements will do faster the classes at school, because if the teacher needs to use the internet to show them something, the pupils who have computers, may be able to follow to the teacher and his explanation. In conclusion, the input of these new technologies will cause changes and some problems at the beginning, but later it will be better, because the teachers will able to use new and better materials in the class, and the pupils will understand and follow better the class and the contents.
On the one hand,I think that the incorporation of new techonologies are good in the society because on this way the classes are more fluently and children can learn quickly but on the other hand, this can be an hard work for teachers and some children don´t want to follow the explanations since they look for some paginas through internet and they can get to confused easily. From my point of view, I agree with the new tecnologies in the classes but I think that it´s necessary a control.
I agree with the incorporation of new technology in classroom. This will be better for student to the future technology. This is a fun way and a dinamyc way to them. Nevertheless this have disadvantages. They will consume a lot of energy. Also the new technology will entertain them, and if the students don't be attentive they will lost and they will not learn nothing. In conclusion, I think that this new technology will have to be control to have a good working.
I feel good that is new technology in the classroom. This will be a future for all and especially to our children in the future need to know all these technologies in their daily lives.
Like all the things that are incorporate for first time, I think that the new technologies had their period of adaptation. But the result is the important, and I am agree with the idea to introduce this technologies at the schools because nowadays all the things work with this.
This texts talk about the same topic that my article. I agree with the new technologies are introduced in class, but i think that the pupils must do their homeworks and exams in paper, because the children maybe become accostumed to this, and in a future will be more difficult to study.
I agree with the idea on introducing new technologies in class. Firstly each children have their own computer in class means that they will learn how to use it from infancy and it would be useful in some year’s time because in a nearly future almost everyone will use a computer for anything we can imaging not only in jobs but in the daily life. Apart from that, new technologies use as means of teaching will create a new learning process that will promote in children visual memory, self-investigation among other qualities. To sump up, using new technologies in class will be useful for children to know how to use it well and will develop some qualities in kids easier than with the traditional resources.
I agree with the teachers when they say : "However some teachers are afraid about of the problems of breakdowns for the use of equipments and the time that supposes preparing the classroom",because the typical class system(which we have had until now)rarely fails.If in the class one day the electricity doesn't work..what happend?? The teachers can't give the class with the new technologies because everything depends on electricity.
I think the Escuela 2.0 project is a good idea while it begins in the third primary stage because is when children have already develop some basic skills like writing.
I agree with Edu that this program is best suited to children who already have basic writing skills. We don't want writing to become a "lost art" because there are times when computers aren't available or they don't work and we have to resort to the old pen and paper.
as i've already said, escuela 2.0 is a good idea but it can't replace teachers work and students have to do some things by had and with a book. And I don't know if it is cheaper with escuela 2.0 or with books... i don't know what's the ecological impact of this change
And....what happened with te calligraphy?? If the children work with the computers they will not improve his calligraphy, because they will haven´t habit of writing
