  1. This news is about a few changes of the last law LOE, the Minister won’t make changes still it have votes enough. They are trying to introduce many changes on the education system, maybe a new law is coming.

I’m going to summarize these changes and my opinion about it.

    - The pupils who fail on 3ºESO could choose between do again the same course or study easy subjects.

In my opinion these changes are good but not at all because I think a pupil in 3ºESO isn’t mature to know what he wants to his future and maybe he chooses the incorrect option.

    - To encourage that the staff of the schools and colleges stays longer.

If pupils know the teachers and they know the pupils, it’s better because they know how are in class and the way they work.

    - There will be recognized subjects between FP and Bachillerato and the companies allowing them studying at the same time they are working for the company and giving them chances to do both thing at the same time.

It’s good for students because when they are younger maybe they choose the incorrect option and they left the studies but later they can return to study.

    - The learning of foreign language will be better because the changes pretend took foreign teachers and our teachers will be capacity to work in bilingual schools.

Obviously I think learning a foreign language it’s important because maybe in the future we are working in a foreign country and so we should know this language and culture, every knowledge is good.

    - The Government will give money to improve the schools and their aims, so schools will have more autonomy.

    - The fee-paying schools should ensure their obligations and demonstrate that the money gave by the Government is enough.

Finally making reference to the last two changes, more stable on economy than education. It’s good that the Government gives money for schools and monitor it because the schools can grow more and this gives them more autonomy.

On conclusion, if changes are made with caution, they will be better for us.

  2. I agree with your conclusion that changes need to be done without haste and with care.
    All points are very interesting.

  4. About the 1st point, I think a pupil who fails in a course must do the course again, as always, what we can change is to do a special course only if the students don´t like to study or aren´t motivated, in this case, teachers could make private lessons after school with this kind of students (which for me is an excellent idea).
For the rest, that´s fine and could be good changes in education.

  6. Completely agree with you,Clara. Maybe the problem is found between teacher&student- student&teacher.
If the relationship was closer, we would have fewer problems with the students because if, for example, the child had a problem, he could count with the professor.

  7. I agree with these changes in the educational system.

In my opinion native teachers promote the students learning.

About the money which is allocate to education, I think it is essential to develop all projects as is the case of the "School 2.0" and to support teachers for primary school children.

I also belive that people when they have to choose if they will work or study they are not clear and pressure leads to bad choice, so I like the idea of being allowed people to work and study time.

  9. "The learning of foreign language will be better because the changes pretend took foreign teachers and our teachers will be capacity to work in bilingual schools"
I completely agree with this change. In my opinion I think that this change must have done so long as I believe it is a bit late to change back into law.
On the other hand I think it's a wonder that native teachers teach classes in English as they learn a lot a lot of vocabulary and pronunciation.
From my point of view, I would consider very important that there be at least one teacher in each school native country

  10. "The pupils who fail on 3ºESO could choose between do again the same course or study easy subjects."

I agree with you, Clara, because i think that people of theird of Secundary don't know anything about their future, so they needs help in their choices.

  12. I completely agree with everything that have said my mate Clara, especially at the point of the constant changes of teacher in a same subject and what to choose 3º E.S.O. Firstly, it costs a lot to get fully adapt to a teacher, to his way of being, his way of giving lessons, how to examine ... so that every year they are changing them. Secondly, in 3º E.S.O. a child has no idea what to do in the future, and are now eager to let him choose without pressing a little to spoil all his future as a student.
