The article I've chosen talks about the ''escuela 2.o'', which consist in to give laptops to the children to teach them by the Internet.
But the problem to solve, which is the topic of the article, is if the plublishers must to write the books in electronic media. That is said because today, teachers use the Internet more to explain than traditional methods, but the publisher don't want to publish all books in paper, or in the other hand, all boooks in electronic media, because they don`t know what the people want to buy for their children to use in the school.
Although publishers have reached an agreement: the books will be digital and paper books, because even children can learn more online than with paper books, they can get more errors with online books than with paper books.
I'm agree with the decision that publishers have had because I think children can't learn all by the Internet because some day the are not going to no how to write in paper because they only know to use the computers.
As far as I know, new technologies and methods in the field of education are needed, but I still believe that paper books are much better for the child to learn. I would use the iBooks only as support, but paper books as the main tool.
I think it is very important to teach children uilizar technology, although it must be formed before us in this field. It is true may never replace books, paintings and books that even work best when children learn to stop, but every year we take a stride forward in technology, so it is important to educate the children from the time zero for better understanding and management of edge technology in the future.
I think is important the existence of the books. However it's true that the students should work more with new tecnologies. My solution is promote the white board (pizarra interactiva) where they will find all kinds of activities. This alternative is practical so I think that the theory should be in the text books.
I think that happens and will happen as in all aspects of life, as with the EURO at the time. People are generally reluctant to change, because the unknown scares us, we are afraid and does not make us feel safe and only time can do to change these feelings. In my opinion it's great progress that is being given to educational level; although much remains to be done, and publishers, like everyone else, eventually succumbing to the charms of the digitization of materials. Never would have thought flying from one end of the world to another printing a paper at home, but ... we have done...

My opinion is they should use both. The internet is very beneficial and ICT media as well, but the books of life will always come in handy

ReplyDeleteLast year, at University, I had an ibook, and I do not really like at all, I prefer paperbooks, they are easier to study, they are more confortable.
