Los resultados de la evaluación internacional PISA vuelven a situar a Andalucía a la cola en materia de Educación. Los escolares de la comunidad están por debajo del promedio español y a bastante distancia de los países de nuestro entorno en comprensión lectora, Matemáticas y Ciencias.
Concretamente, los peores resultados se obtienen en Matemáticas, un triste ránking en el que ya es habitual que se encuentre Andalucía. Frente a los 496 'puntos' de media de los países de la OCDE, que baja hasta un 483 en España, Andalucía apenas suma 463 puntos. Es decir, 34 por debajo del resto de países y a 21 de distancia de la media española.
En este campo, en el país, sólo están por debajo de los alumnos andaluces los de Canarias, con 435; y los de Ceuta y Melilla -consideradas en este ránking internacional como a modo de autonomía-, con 417.
En Comprensión Lectora, las cifras son algo mejores pero, en cualquier caso, nada halagüeñas: 492 es la media del resto de países participantes y 481 la española. Andalucía suma 461. O sea, 31 y 20 puntos menos, respectivamente.
En cuanto a Ciencias, aunque en el cómputo global la comunidad autonómica llega a 469 'puntos', lo cierto es que la diferencia respecto a los demás continúa siendo muy evidente. En este ámbito, la media internacional llega a 501, es decir, 32 puntos por encima; y la española, a 488, 19 puntos más.
Tanto en Lectura como en Ciencias, sólo hay tres comunidades españoles por debajo de la andaluza, y coinciden las mismas: Baleares, Canarias y Ceuta y Melilla.
Por si fuera poco, el nuevo informe PISA vuelve a evidenciar que los alumnos son mejores que las mujeres en Matemáticas y Ciencias, mientras que las mujeres los superan en lectura.
I think pupils don't give importance to education because they don't think in their future, they are thinking in the present and what they have to do today, tomorrow or the next week.
I think that the problem of which Andalucia is the worst community in education, is because the majority of the students have a lack of motivation for the study. This can be caused because the students start working before the normal thing or that his parents don´t force them to study.
I agree with Clara and Luismi because nowadays students don't think about build a better future through the studies, they prefer start working and earn their own money, but they don't realize that start working now is a short-term warranty. Parents are responsible for helping them to acquire this mentality. Studying is as truly going to have a good future.
Guys, I have not idea about this new. I didn´t know that the worst community in Spain in Education was Andalucia. It´s maybe due to the Educactional System I don´t know. Do you think that the problems are students or teachers and Educational System??
To start with, I think that educational system, teachers and students form a whole.
On the one hand, all Spain has a very low score, and therefore a problem with reading comprehension, mathematics and science compared to other countries, so is clear the influence of the educational system in this low score.
On the other hand, I think that teachers also influence because they are the ones who must motivate their students.
Finally, it is clear that if Andalusian students do not their part, the educational system and teachers will not improve this state of education related to reading comprehension, mathematics and science.
