  1. The Government injected eight million for programs to combat school failure.

The Government will distribute 8.400.000€ between autonomy communities which have centers with programs to students with worst prospects. It was approved by the Council of Ministers the last Friday. This decision was made after the PISA dossier which shows the blockage of our education.
Some communities will receive more than the rest like Andalucía, Madrid or Cataluña. Other communities like La Rioja or Cantabria will receive the lowest prize. The distribution of money is made depending on the number of children who have not graduated at E.S.O.
This measure aims to reduce school failure supplying more money to schools with programs for students who have worse prospects, going out of date in their school development and promotion of projects that succeed in eliminating the differences that appear in the educational field.
Other measure that the Government approved was intended six million to encourage the School 2.0 program. This money will be divided between the improvement of school facilities and running expenses.
After taking these steps some communities have refused to join the agreement while others pledged to add more schools and students in this program. 196

I’m my opinion this measure isn’t the best idea to eliminate the school fail. Although it’s true that improve the capital of special programs with this aim, it isn’t the only thing we could do to have a lowest number of students that ends their studies without an E.S.O title. There are a lot of things we could do like help the one who are disadvantage in the studies and encourage the other students who don’t want study. In conclusion, nowadays is a pain that boys and girls who have the opportunity of have studies, be graduated in E.S.O, etc don’t want to study because they think that it isn’t useful or because they don’t like it.

  2. I agree with Andrea. In my opinion helping schools giving more money is a good idea to support the studies because is neccesary to have more materials or facilities but on the other hand money is not enough to elminate the problems. I think that people that don't want to study even if the goverment gives them money, they aren't going to study either. In conclusion I would do more atractive programs.

  3. I totally agree with Andrea. It’s true that the money is necessary but I think that exist a lot of ways and possibilities to improve the educational system and the marks of their pupils.
Nowadays, the centres need technology, materials, very good facilities, right resources, etc. because the new generations demands these kind of things, but they don’t help to the children to want a better student. I think they need more motivation, right methodologies, good teachers, attractive programmes to study…or things like these to improve themselves and their marks.

I'm agree with Andrea because I think that this is not the best option to eliminate school failure. It is true that these grants will improve the preparation of teachers or the conditions and facilities for students enjoy. But the preparation of students do not improve, because the main reasons for school failure is the lack of motivation and little desire to learn from children. In short, we should start encouraging those who study and promote reading and learning in those who do not want to go to school.

  5. I agree with Andrea because everyone is entitled to a decent education, and today what this means is that you expand the resources provided to schools or spend more money on material. Nevertheless, it is very sad as good my companion has said, that there is a young person great quantity that they are not ready to study in spite of the opportunities that give them.We should provide to them something more showy, which was catching their attention and was doing that were joining again to the educational system.

  6. I agree with Andrea, I think that the intention of wanting to resolve is right, but not everything is solved with money, because there are things that can be resolved in other ways, money is very important, but not all, let alone teaching, because there are a lot of things we could do like help the one who are disadvantage in the studies and encourage the other students who don’t want study.

  7. Yes, of course it is truth that the money is necesary for the education, we just need to have a look of our society and the society of countries that has no money, but it is not the solution for the main problem.
There could be many posibles solution; but, one day having a converstaion with my mum about this topyc she told me her theory about this and that made me think about it and i realised she was really right, even tho this mesure could seem quiet scary and absurd of unreal, it is not!how many poeple do you know that doesnt have the E.S.O graduate but they already have a driving license and are driving a car, because for most of the teenagers the only important things seems to be cars and party, her idea was that THE GOVERMENT SHOULD MAKE A NEW LAW THAT DOESNT ALLOW PEOPLE TO DO AN EXAM FOR TO GET THE DRIVING LICENSE WITHOUTH THE E.S.O. GRADUATE , this way everybody who wish to have a driving license must pass first the E.S.O certificate.

(This may sound a bit crazy now, but in a future when this will be a reality you will remember from where u heard it the first time! hehe)

  8. I think like Andrea, giving money to help people to have the oportunity to study is a god idea but I think that even the Goverment give money a lot of people won't go to the school, i think that the Goverment must put other active programs that encourage the school assist.

  9. In my opinion this helps are not going to be well used, because it´s not a good way to fight the low leavel of knowledge in the youth. I also agree with Luna that the youth of today only wants party and cars or motorbikes. And they don´t care about their cultural level.
Nowadays too many people that didn´t finish their high school studies regret for that, because they have a bad job with a bad salary, and allways sais "if only i had studied as my father told me". This is real life and if you want to have a good job you have to strugle in order to get it.
I also think that government should do some campaigns in order to awarness the population.

I agree with Andrea. It´s true that money helps, but I think there are better ways to motivate students to study and more effective ways.
Only with money will not get students to have the title which I think is essential (4 ESO).
We should try to encourage children who do not want to study, motivating them, have good teachers, do programs to learn to study and concentrate.

In addition nowadays no child can´t go to school because they have to help working parents, as happened previously. And I think that this opportunity should not miss anyone.
